Introducing the new Bluzelle
A decentralized, on-demand and scalable database service.

After three years of building our company, Neeraj and I want to announce the next evolution of Bluzelle.
As we worked on our enterprise blockchain projects for the past 18 months, we came across a problem. We are building blockchain applications, but the underlying existing database layer is not ideal. Neeraj pointed out future issues in performance, scalability and reliability. He saw that implementing blockchain principles to a new database service would solve those problems. And in doing so we’d be producing a vital part of the decentralized internet. There are already dApps, there are operating environments like Ethereum, there are file storage solutions like Filecoin. But where will all the data be managed and stored, that’s where Bluzelle comes in.
Bluzelle is a decentralized service that provides on-demand, scalable databases. It is for software developers who are dissatisfied with the costs, limited scalability, and complexity of existing database systems. Bluzelle is low-cost, quick to deploy, provides high performance, and has a solid scalability path. Bluzelle provides enterprise-grade database services at a price for all Decentralized Application (DApps) developers.
It was a natural evolution of our middleware technology to this new service. And what got us most excited is it’s a product that can be used by all developers, not just enterprises! We’re able to tap into our game development background and have something all our former colleagues can use.
New Funding Round of $1.5 Million USD
To get this new product going, we have closed a new round of $1.5 Million USD financing. The investors include True Global Ventures, our seed investors who saw the progress we made and invested more into Bluzelle; Global Brain based out of Tokyo; and LUN Partners Capital based out of Shanghai. All three were strategically chosen as they help us grow into new markets. One of the members of Global Brain is Hisashi Suzuki, a founder of Square Enix which produced Final Fantasy. His credibility and knowledge will assist us in building the developer community.
Future Financing and Token Sale
In addition to the recent funding we will be doing a future token sale. These tokens play an integral part in making the Bluzelle crypto-economic network. With Bluzelle, we enable producers to offer their extra hardware as storage areas for consumers to use to store their data. Consumers pay with a token and producers earn tokens. Once you read our documents, you’ll see what is required to build this massive network. We’re confident we have the team, experience and right advisors on board to execute this. We will be releasing more information soon, including new team members, partnerships and product releases.
