Release of the NFT Storage Mainnet and Increased Staking Rewards!
We are delighted to announce that the file storage on Bluzelle is no longer in the soft mainnet status, but has been migrated to full mainnet. This is also linked to the support of numerous NFTs, of which some projects are currently being integrated into our file system. These will be announced in the coming weeks in the upcoming Deep Dive Announcements.
Quadruple Staking Rewards for Early-Stage Supporters
In order to celebrate this special milestone with our community, we are increasing our daily staking rewards for the rest of the year 2021 by four times (4x) the earnings value. This new amount still keeps us in line with our staking release schedule released last year.
The following concepts can be noted in relation to the alignment of the staking:
- Encourage loyalty
- Encourage tenure
- Encourage larger stakes
Staking rewards are distributed on a daily basis and will show up directly on your available balance (not under the “reward” section on the dashboard).

Advantages of the Transition to the Storage Mainnet
The new Bluzelle Storage Mainnet supports files up to 100 MB in size, which is a real innovation, because it can also be used to send, save and share large photos, audio files and videos. This size limitation will increase with a percentage and constantly increasing maturity of our network, increasing the initiatives to bring about mass adoption.
The data replication basically takes place over the entire network, because IPFS in comparison does not replicate anything and also not free of charge, which would involve very high costs and technical requirements. IPFS (bad) replication takes about 10 seconds. This means that after uploading, your file will be kept globally in more than 50 nodes. This is a few nodules compared to the vision Bluzelle is aiming for.
We are targeting hundreds and, in the long term, thousands of nodes, because this means that your files remain protected, secure and always available.
The Bluzelle team has set itself the task of using the blockchain in combination with torrent. In the BitTorrent file distribution system, a torrent file, or meta-info file, is a computer file that contains metadata about files and folders to be distributed, and usually also a list of the network locations of trackers, which are computers that use the Participants in the system to help find each other and form efficient distribution groups known as swarms. A torrent file does not contain the content to be distributed. It only contains information about these files; B. their names, folder structure and sizes, using cryptographic hash values to check the file integrity.
We are using the torrent network in a version 2.0, in which all our nodes are also torrent peers and save all files with the proven algorithms of torrent. In addition, our proven database technology is used to ensure that your file is never corrupted and authentic, just like it was when you uploaded it.
To conclude, we use torrent to make sure your file is stored all over the world. This is the best way to ensure that you never lose anything and that you can keep as many copies of it on a reliable decentralized network as Bluzelle so that it can never be lost.
We are looking forward to the support from every single new and previous staker.
