We have new dates for Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism and new plans to make the event better!

We are very sad to announce that we are postponing Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism on April 28, 29 and 30.

This event is an immersive workshop where people from different industries work together to bring ideas to help the tourism industry and this requires a large group for success.

Organizers are looking at a new weekend that does not directly compete with the Saulog Festival where a number of events are being held:

* April 28 — Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2017 Pageant and Coronation Night (Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium)

* April 29 — St. Joseph the Worker Fluvial Procession (Sitio Ubos, Poblacion 2)

* April 29 — Saulog Tagbilaran Amity Street Party (Plaza Rizal)

* April 30 — Globe Night (Tagbilaran City Square)

After much consideration, we have decided to postpone the event to the last week of September.

While Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism has generated great interest, the Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism organizing team would like to use the additional time to make the event much better to make the experience more fun and valuable for attendees and more impactful for the communities.

The Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism organizing team is still committed to creating an event where the tourism and tech industry could work together to make Bohol a progressive tourism island.

So please keep the last weekend of September open. We’ll be rescheduling the event for September 29, 30 and October 1.

Our goal at Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism is to create awesome, life changing events, and we would not want to waste your time and money on anything sub par.

You can check our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/StartupWeekendBohol/ for more updates.

Startup Weekend Bohol Tourism is a 100% volunteer and community driven event.
