How I sold the first 1,000 copies of my business book

My first book, Hype Yourself: a no-nonsense DIY toolkit for small businesses, has nearly sold 5,000 print copies in the two years since its launch. But the work started WAY before I even launched. Here are some of the techniques I used to accelerate sales by raising my profile.
