Certainly the purpose of reading book is to gain knowledge other than fun and entertainment. So, today, I am going to present a list of books (fiction and non-fiction) that are high on confidence quotient. By reading these books, you are sure to score good marks in confidence. Let’s see the countdown:

What is the Demand of Time by Arijit Chakraborty:

An excellent book covering all demands of life! Our life runs on demands. It creates and we fulfill them so that we remain satisfied and happy. The author covered six important topics namely, creativity, fearlessness, being practical, being proactive, being rich, and knowledge. It is imperative to understand these demands and act accordingly. The book has a proper road map, with timely quotes and real-life examples. The book starts as a self-help but eventually becomes a life management book by the time you finish it.

The 5 AM Club — Own Your Morning, Elevate Your Life by Robin Sharma:

If you read the prologue you will get an idea that the author has been teaching this concept to many sorts of individuals for over 20 years. So, this book is a product of his own experience, spiraling out of teaching. Well, the common knowledge is that if you wake up early and go to bed at the right time, then no success seems out of line. True…we all learnt that in school days. As the title says, grab your morning, and then rise above in your life. Be it any field.

Gift of Confidence: Miracles Can Happen Easily by Rohit Narang:

Though written in fiction style, it will be unfair to leave out this book from the list. The book is highly recommended for gaining confidence amid all situations. Written in lucid way this is a great book for students and others, alike. Useful messages have been conveyed through the story of a CA final year student Pancham.

The Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday:

It is self-help cum philosophical book that includes a variety of practical-looking cases in the form of stories and examples, from fields like history to philosophy and everything in between. The book, first in the place, serves ambitious people. It says if you really value your goals and objectives, the biggest obstacle is you ‘Yourself’. That is your ego that stops you from lowering down to get humble and learning in life. It is now a proven fact that our lives are misguided by our ego more than instincts. As a matter of fact, ego is the root cause of problems that frequented us in everyday life.

Life Know-How: Sensible Advice to Live Life to the Fullest by Viswanatha Reddy Thalakola:

A handy self-help book. This book stands out from other self-help book because of its friendly and casual tone — while reading it you may feel that a friend of yours is sitting around you and giving valuable advice to you about how to proceed in life.

Finding Your G-Spot in Life by GeetikaSaigal:

It teaches us, above anything us, how to be real ‘You’ despite going through aspects like family & peer pressure, rat race, fulfilling desires on EMIs and so on. The author has stepped forward from its comfort zone and challenged the conventional and traditional sayings, for instance, maybe, it is not about the light at the end of the tunnel, but the lights we light as we journey through the tunnel. Look at the audacity, the quote is good and relevant, but at the same time contrary to its popularity.
