Philosophy has been remained a subject of heavy dose and thought-provoking concerns. It has got a separate reader base, however, writer and academician Madhu Kapoor believes that even day-to-day chore and tiniest of concern has philosophy ingrained in it. The spectrum of philosophy is vast and it encapsulates not only life elements and theories of survival and existence, well it’s also applicable to other fields like literature, dance, food, everyday task, etc.

If you are wondering how philosophy can be seen and practiced in tiniest of things of our lives, well you need to read this book of Madhu Kapoor. The amalgamation of philosophy with other subjects is brilliant, funny, sarcastic, humourous, yet entertaining. Madhu has that ability to make any small act of work look grand, big and different in its approach by adding lens of philosophy. This book isn’t a fictional tale of her life and her sisters, rather she recounts some of her episodes of life in a different approach.

I personally liked the last chapter — the Celestial Dance of a Lady — she here beautiful expresses the dance performance of her sister. Her pose, artistic style, meditation in dance…all those vibes exudes a feel of true artist at the work. But for me, I appreciate Madhu’s keen observation as an appreciator of dance as a form of expression of beauty and illusion. In another jaw-dropping observation, she does anatomy of a table and things it was decorated with. Simply a mere object for many can turn an entity of living organism for her, such is the grace, ken, and power of her philosophical insights.

The book’s core philosophy revolves around the art of building meaningful connections with thoughts and tenacity, and feeling the wonderful results on a pallet of feelings.

While the book delves deeper into certain topics that look ordinary and make them sound extraordinary, its impact overall remains profound, offering a wealth of mesmerizing wealth that transcends the boundaries of traditional pitched philosophical books. This book, for sure, ignite readers philosophical inclination in literature.

The book is available to buy from online retail stores like Amazon and Kindle.
