I’m my worst critic. At least I think I am. Most writers are. I’m sure there are worse, but this works for me. As writers we get so wrapped in our work, everything looks bad while we’re in it. It’s not until we take step back do we give ourselves a lower-lip/side nod of moderate approval (not a lot, but moderate — never more).
