Between 2018 and 2019, I wrote four novels. Most people will barely write one in that time. Even though prolific writers can churn out ten or some insane number like that.

Writing your own novel is as easy or as hard as you make it.

Those who want to write a novel are too intimidated to start. Staring at that blank document is the scariest part of the process. Those things are equivalent to the monster under the bed.

You need to write something down, even if it’s easier said than done. I made the process easier by preparing the essentials of my rough draft before I wrote it. Basically, I outlined it.

There are a number of elements that you need to master in order to make your rough draft as good as it’s going to get. These elements are what thousands of other books are praised for having. Once you’ve got them down, it’ll be easier to start and finally finish that pesky book.
