Regret and grief never disappear!

It may be
too late now
to make
an impression
on your heart
Too late
to be the one
that puts a smile
on your face
with just
the thought
of me
But
if I could
go back
and make
better decisions
I would’ve
never let
the memories
we shared
or the time
we spent
slip away
as
I now regret
every second
I don’t spend
in the warmth
of your embrace.
Regret and grief never disappear! They may reduce over time, but they never, ever disappear.
