Journey Through Memories
Growing up
I was just there. I remember I was just there.
Playing and running around with my friends, flying kites in the air.
Time flies so fast, just as all my toys turn to rust.
Now, what we have is a world so vast.
We’re carried along, through seasons of change,
as life’s grand tapestry, we rearrange.
From innocent laughter to wisdom’s embrace, growing up is a journey we all must face.
I remember I was that kid, laughing out loud,
not caring if someone thinks it’s bad.
I wish I could still do that,
being happy without feeling sad.
With each passing day, we learn, and we grow, In the garden of life, we reap what we sow. So, come, let us wander through memories and time, in this poem of growing up, let our verses chime.

Background:
I use AI to correct some grammar issues and translate words as English is not my first language.
I wrote this poem because lately, I have been thinking about how a lot of people my age are feeling like time flies so fast. Life becomes really hard to bear sometimes, but whenever I think about it, it makes me think of that playground I used to play in.
Being an adult is such a beautiful journey, especially if you had a wonderful childhood. And I don’t want to forget that.
