Parenting two high-needs kids
(through a divorce) is like riding
a plastic horse around
never-ending circles
while trying to land large
commercial aircrafts
in a straight line.

Something is
very well likely
to crash and
burn.

No amount of training
can prepare you
to make the crash landings successful
parenting requires.

No amount of practice
can prepare you
to clear the hurdles raised by chaos
in childhood.

No amount of learning
can prepare you
to soar through loops built into systems
so falsely established
you appear to be moving in straight lines
instead of never-ending circles.

Parenting two high-needs kids
(through a divorce) is like riding
a plastic horse around…
