Autumnal Forests: A Vibrant Visual Fire

A Halloween/October-themed poem

Fire red, orange leaves,
deciduous, falling leaves,
a feast for the eyes.

I’m tackling Holly’s October poetry and art prompt challenge! She’s an amazing poet who sells typewritten poems for $5 and posts beautiful wax seal photos. Hop on her challenge & feel free to submit your piece to The Brain is a Noodle! 🧠🍜

Tagging: Dana Sanford | Suryatapa | Spyder | Agnes Louis | Francine Fallara and anyone else interested in today’s prompt: Trees.

Lucy (The Eggcademic) loves road trips in the autumn, zooming through highways lined with brightly lit trees. To counter my earlier article about not relating to nature, in writing about how much I don’t relate to nature, I started noticing all the ways that I am. Really makes you think, huh?

What’s your next adventure? 🌌🐇
