Forgotten

I have forgotten you
like a dime in a jukebox
the rhythm that once made my heart beat
my hips sway
I have forgotten those moves
that I stashed away, under those sheets
those dreams I left under the pillow
for you
I have forgotten the tulips on the window sill
the fragrance of my love
a gentle breeze that tousled your hair
when you woke up and walked away
t’was another day
I have forgotten you since that day.
I hope you find me, the parts of me
I have forgotten for you.
