Gasoline can
Photo by alex mihu on Unsplash

Light me on fire,
oh words,
let flickering embers
flint-spark
from my sharp
tongue

Let me illuminate
each and every
dirty corner
of this damp, dark, world

Light me on fire,
oh words,
because the magma in my
blood
screams for ignition

The coal in my veins
is waiting
for the fairy-flames,
spit fresh
from dragon-maw and
dragon-claw

Light me on fire,
oh words,
because my heart has always
been
gasoline

(I think I broke the prompt again. Oops.)
