with the way you
sipped your coffee

with the way
you insisted
that the hot sauce
in pho
should be squirted into
the spoon or a side dish
so as not
to ruin the broth

with the way
you meticulously
prepare every meal
with genuine love
and attention to flavour,
intending to only
serve the best
to the ones you love.
