Letter to Summer
Poetry prompt: summer

sunny, searing hot
could bake cookies in the car,
or eggs on my head

Lucy (The Eggcademic) [she/her] is really jumping ahead in time travel and looking forward to summer — a time hopefully filled with hope and warmth and cookies (hopefully NOT baked in a car) and eggs (hopefully NOT cooked on her head) 🤣 Truthfully though, one day she might try out the eggsperiment of cooking an egg on her head just because having a head of black hair makes the top of one’s head quite h o t 🔥
