Lock and Dam 13 is a lock and dam located on the Mississippi river, situated above Fulton, Illinois and Clinton, Iowa. It was a favorite place of my grandfather, and we spent many afternoons there watching barges float past. The above picture is one taken of us at the lock and dam.
