How did all these boxes
get in here?
Stacked thoughts and empty
promises,
Piled like sins
in our skins,
against the walls
holding back that wretched ingress,
pushing hard against
our fortifications

— lines of defense
you never see —

A notification that this
is getting
out of hand,
not what they had planned,
All these boxes
tattered, torn,
against the hopes and fears
all these years
of our unknown anguish
lost in this parish
of labyrinthine storage
Secrets lie unknown
amongst the crumbling
of our fragile dreams
and howling nightmares,
spirits scream in locked
hallways, asking for
a way
to exit this maze
