Rainbows of Gratitude
A Poem
Birdsong on the morning wing
Makes the darkness visible
Walk and run and dance and sing
Life will feel incredible.
Barefoot dew-shower for the toes
Clouds with a silver lining,
Honey bees and rainbows
Mean the sun is shining.
Come white horses ride the seas
Meet footprints in the sand,
Hugs, a smile, a cup of tea
Is friendship hand in hand
Tomorrow may bring us thunderstorms
We can never know.
But loving ways and Prayers of Thanks
Show us the way to go.
With gratitude to every reader for dropping by.
And special thanks to a lady who spreads joy and collects smiles wherever she goes Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, and her generous invitation to write and celebrate World Gratitude Day.
