Rationality Is a False god
The Oldest Trap in The universe
What is the mind if not the route to dead ends?
Man’s unending worship of logos
Unwanted immigrants of the soul; Forced influx
Yet the fools in us are often bewildered
Unbeknownst to the besiegement of our souls
For to worship logic is to be spiritually castrated
An act entirely of our own accord
Yet we stray further into the dead end
Knocking on death’s door seeking answers to life; irony abounds
A vehicle with no brakes; constant crashes
You see, an affair with logic never ends well.
We fancy ourselves tugging its string,
Ignorant that it is us getting tugged.
Our souls cry for a return to the source,
Yet are almost always met with manufactured sources.
What is the mind if not the route to dead ends?
Author’s Note: I await intuition’s return.
