Seasons of life come at a different pace.
Very seldom do I have that “conquer the world”
energy upon waking up. More alert after 6 p.m.
It wasn’t always that way though.
I remember working morning shifts- full of energy.

The body adapts. It makes the
best with its resources
and the time frames we give it.

Each season brings new challenges
that we choose to rise up and meet.
It’s unique in its own way- some
we relive and others only pass by once.

That’s the beauty of the lives we choose.
We learn each season different lessons,
or if we fail to grasp- the lesson repeats.
Some require slowness and pushing off
the rush, rush, get it, now! mentality
(my favorites!) and some require busyness
and hard work to prepare for what is
yet to come in our lives- it’s a time to make
what we want most manifest.

The season sets the pace.
Our choice is to embrace it.
