I’ve said this before — when Carolyn Hastings invites me to compete, I cannot resist.

Maybe it’s because of the sibling rivalry in rugby between the Wallabies and the Springboks, the former having beaten us last Saturday in Adelaide.

I believe it is my patriotic duty to show that we can still laugh despite snatching defeat from the jaws of victory — or some such cliche. Anyway, let’s see what happens in Sydney this Saturday.

Sheri Jacobs started this saga nearly two months ago. It’s been doing the rounds ever since and our heads are spinning!

Then, two days before the official arrival of Spring (for us lucky folks south of the equator 😀) Carolyn received a challenge from Jim McAulay🍁 to

“Create a 2 line 10 word story involving dialogue. Puns are optional.”

After reading that, I was hooked.
