The Ten-Word Story Challenge Has Evolved Into a Speak-Easy
I accept the challenge to reveal my funny bone — despite the pun-dits swearing me to secrecy
I’ve said this before — when Carolyn Hastings invites me to compete, I cannot resist.
Maybe it’s because of the sibling rivalry in rugby between the Wallabies and the Springboks, the former having beaten us last Saturday in Adelaide.
I believe it is my patriotic duty to show that we can still laugh despite snatching defeat from the jaws of victory — or some such cliche. Anyway, let’s see what happens in Sydney this Saturday.
