Tick Tock

not to be confused with the app, or the earlier popular song by Ke$ha

Rotating, tick tock,
in a rhythmic motion,
time pops on
in clockwise direction.

But how did people
describe the concept
of clockwise
before clocks were invented?

How did they communicate
that one had to rotate to the right
before right and left were distinguished?

I only have questions,
I only have questions…
