Unreliable Narrator: Estrangement

a poem

Photo by Etienne Girardet on Unsplash

When I share my story
ㅤabout estrangement,

I would like you to know
ㅤthat I am aware
ㅤthat to some,
ㅤI am an unreliable narrator;
ㅤㅤwhile also making space
ㅤto honour my own truths.
