George Lucas Invented the Actual LaZer That Goes Pew Pew

Yes, it’s true, the Navy actually has a laser system that goes pew pew. It can pew pew down drones, pew pew down enemy vessels, and who knows what else it can pew pew.

As Pew Pew is an onomatopoeia commonly associated with the sound effect of laser-beam guns portrayed in popular sci-fi films, TV shows and videogames — he really did invent the laser.

All I know is that George Lucas mass invented these laser weapons systems back in 1977 for the original Star Wars movie. So I wonder when George Lucas will put that ever encapsulating title of ‘genius’ inventor on his resume.

So here it is in all its pew pew glory:

If I were ISIS, I’d give back my 40 or so virgins and ask God for atonement before going up against this badass pew pew machine.

Surely, it’s like when Benjamin Franklin invented the world’s first lightning rod — which led to discoveries about electricity and the different ways it can be housed.

Disclaimer: George Lucas in no way actually invented the U.S. Navy’s Laser Weapon System or (LaWS).
