So, You Want to Jump Aboard the Brandwagon?
Here’s What You’ve Gotta Do.
Welcome! If you’d like to write for the Brandwagon, the process is simple, and we’re always excited to hear from smart, sharp voices with something to say about branding.
Whether you’re a marketer, designer, strategist, freelancer, founder, or just a lover of brands, we want your take.
What We Publish
The Brandwagon focuses on the intersection of branding, culture, marketing, and identity. We love articles that explore:
- Branding trends and analysis
- Campaign breakdowns
- Cultural critiques through a branding lens
- Personal stories from creative work
- Brand strategy, voice, and storytelling
- Design, rebrands, and visual identity
If it helps people think more deeply about how brands shape our world (and how we shape them), it’s a fit.
Submission Guidelines
Your article should:
- Be about branding in some meaningful way.
- Include sources, images, or links to the work you’re referencing (cited properly).
What We Look For
- A clear headline and a structure that’s easy to follow.
- A smart, conversational voice. Professional, but not stiff.
- Original work only (not published elsewhere).
You can absolutely reference your own projects or clients, just make sure they serve the story, not the other way around.
How to Submit
Send an article draft or sample piece to:
thebrandwagon.submissions@gmail.com
Include:
- A quick note about who you are
- An article you’ve written
- A link to your Medium profile
We review submissions weekly and reply to every pitch, even if it’s a pass.
