10 Things You Might Not Know About Your Audience and Readers
How are they the real owners of your writing
Suppose you work in a cake shop. They call you and order a birthday cake stuffed with vanilla, dark chocolate, and strawberries. After an hour, you make the cake. They come to pick it up. Will they give you the money without seeing the cake?
Well, they ordered the cake, and you made it. So, they have to give you the money. But they must not and should not, at least, based on the following scenario:
If you give them a birthday cake stuffed with some dark chocolate, do you think they will accept it? They might even hit that on the ground and order nothing from your shop anymore. Why? Because the vanilla and strawberries are missing.
In the same way, know the preferences of your audience. If you don’t know, no one might receive your writing, no one might read it, and no one might appreciate it.
