Writing is difficult

Every time I sit down to write — I have absolutely no clue how to start the story. All I have is an idea. I know I am supposed to start the intro with a “bang,” but all I do is bang my head to find an appropriate first line.

Whether it is a 468 words article for two minutes read or a 2750 words article for nine minutes read — they are equally challenging for me to write.

I keep staring at the white screen of my laptop with hundreds of lines running through my mind. None of them feel like the “bang” level intro everyone suggests to write. So, I am stuck at the intro itself.

I will quickly write down 400 words. That will be enough for publishing as a two-minute article, I thought. But — here I am not able to even think about the first line of the article.

Gosh, it is so difficult to come up with a proper intro.

I tell myself — writing is difficult.

If you feel the same way every time you sit down to write — here are 8 points that will help you negotiate with the challenges in your initial days as a writer.

1. Write regularly
