Meet Alex Fasulo. She started freelancing on Fiverr in 2015, charging $5 per writing gig, and now she is consistently making six figures on the platform adding to $350,000 yearly income.

Alex joined Fiverr after her mom suggested that she should try writing there. At first, she used Fiverr as a side hustle, writing for a couple of hours a week, and making $100 — $200 per month. Fiverr was a great place for Alex to earn extra money for things like new clothes and dining out.

But after quitting the job, she hated she was left without her main source of income. Alex did not want to move back home from New York, so she logged into her Fiverr account and created 9 new $5 gigs, including a gig for writing press releases, since she had some experience from her previous job.

When she checked the platform the next morning, she couldn’t believe what she saw. The press release gig took off, and she had a bunch of new orders.

After a month of writing, she was able to cover her living expenses and pay her rent. That year she earned $33,000 from Fiverr, but her success didn’t stop there.
