You Should Write Every Day, But Should You Publish Every Day? by Annie Shaw
When I write, my primary job is to mentally step aside and let the words flow. But I felt as though I couldn’t do that with the pressure of needing something for publication hanging over me.
I loved this piece because it’s so relatable. There’s a lot of pressure to upload as often as we can, and though I understand the importance of that, it can hurt creativity. Stress and pressure to publish can make it difficult to write. Annie talks about the pros and cons of writing and publishing every day and it’s well worth the read.
