3 Things to do during the gloomy rainy season
The rains really took the life out of you, didn’t they? Here are 3 activities you can do on Brigge this rainy season, with other like-minded folk to keep yourself going.
1. Board Games with Neighbors
Your neighbors have nowhere to go too. Create a board game activity and have some friends nearby join you. You don’t even need board games. Right now, even playing cards is a boon to people with nowhere to go for hours.
2. Running and catching in the beach
No. It is not remotely lame. Have you tried it? Trust me, it’s madness running after people in the rain. Create an activity called ‘Running and Catching in the beach’ (If Lock and key works better, your call). See the number of people who’ll turn up.
3. Construct a make-shift boat with other boat lovers
The rains got crazy and people could not even get out of their houses because bikes and cars were completely submerged. Guess what doesn’t get submerged? A boat. Get a few guys together, some wood, an old lorry tire and make a small box boat. It’s super fun to float around and have people check out how cool you are.
