Yo there! Has your May been all hot and happening?!

Summer jokes aside, this month has been super cool for us at Brigge. Loads of stuff has been going down at the office, on the mobile app, the web app… Oh, did we tell you we have now a web app?!

Presenting www.brigge.co, where you can try out the Brigge app live and kicking, without having to sign in or install anything. Go ahead, check it out.

No install, no sign-up or anything!

This is what the website used to look like before — pretty cool and all, but still, something was missing-

Smooth, innit?!

So, to make it more intuitive and interactive, we’ve now got a web-version of Brigge up!

We understand installing an app and signing up can be quite a bit of a commitment for most people. So the web app basically lets you search and discover groups, activities and people around you, join groups and get a feel of the app before you commit.

And as you can see, from the screenshot, quite a lot has been happening!

For one, we have an insane number of groups on Brigge now — there’s a group for food walks, a badminton group, a biking group, a trekking group, a group for jam sessions, a group for arts and crafts, there’s a cycling group — there’s even a group of Hotwheels fans, for chrissakes!

And they’re all living it up!

A gang of hungry Chennaites went on a food walk to Mylapore

The Amateur Basketball Players have a great game going. They meet on Saturday mornings.

The Casual Shuttlers are having loads of fun, shuttling regularly

There was an insane JAM session on Bessie beach-

Most importantly, Brigge was really keen on getting people to go out and vote this time, and that’s how Brigge Cares came about. We’ve got groups for voters of each constituency in Chennai — be it T Nagar, Anna Nagar, Velachery or anywhere else. Active and aware citizens can come together, discuss problems, solutions — basically do something other than complain about what a shitty job the government is doing.

But of course, you have other important things to do — surf the web, stalk people on social media, watch cat videos. You need not download the app and actually do something. You be cool, man.

But those of you who are activists with Brigge already — you know the fun you’re having!

Also, in other news, we were in TOI!

So, this month has definitely been a great one for us. How was yours? Hope you’ve been up to some whacky stuff! If not, join Brigge for some inspiration. Monsoons aren’t far away — the best time for some nice trips, treks and get-togethers over filter kaapi and vadais. Find the company you crave on Brigge! You can watch that video later — check out Brigge here NOW!
