With less than two weeks to go until Investment Conference: Next Round on 15th November at NatWest HQ, it’s almost time for entrepreneurs to learn how to access funds from various platforms and network their way to success. We look forward to presenting a lineup of speakers and sponsors that includes some of the most active and innovative players in business funding. Here are a few of the exciting things they’ve done since last year’s Investment Conference — more reasons why you’ll definitely want to meet them.

  1. Equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs began a collaboration with challenger bank Fidor in July to create a digital marketplace where bank members can access a range of exclusive investment opportunities.
  2. In October 2017, another equity crowdfunding platform, SyndicateRoom, hit £100 million invested in over 100 small businesses since its launch in 2013.
  3. The UK Business Angels Association announced a partnership with London City Hall to host 20 Tech Investment Showcases, events where innovative tech firms can attract funders, over the next four years to attract even more tech investment to London.
  4. Both NatWest and professional services network PwC have been involved in programmes to help startups scale up. NatWest announced that its partnership with Entrepreneurial Spark, the world’s largest business accelerator, has created over 3,000 jobs in 2,000 businesses across the UK. Meanwhile, PwC launched six new scale-up programmes in the UK as part of its larger SCALE programme for small businesses.
  5. Accelerator TechStars just announced that all startups the work with will have access to WeWork locations across the world, giving them not only more space but also a network of over 150,000 creators to collaborate and network with.
  6. South African SME consulting firm ThinkRoom will join us at the Business Funding Show as our first partner representing entrepreneurship in Africa.
  7. Chinese-American funding and networking organisation InTeahouse established a base in London with $120 million to invest in tech businesses in June 2017. Funded by Silicon Valley, InTeahouse will provide seed-stage startups with $70,000 and free office space and support for a year and offer more developed startups access to series A funding and beyond.

Tickets for Investment Conference: Next Round are available until 8th November. Don’t miss your last chance to secure the ticket that will give you access to these companies and more, all under one roof! Secure your ticket here.
