Dear Personal Board of Advisors,

2020 can be characterized as a catalyst for change as we collectively faced a global coronavirus pandemic, a renewed reckoning with racial justice, and an election season in a hyperpolarized political environment.

As I reflect on the past solar cycle, I am reunited with my family and back in my hometown after a year. We spent New Year’s Eve at home together and called it a night shortly after ringing in 2021 in our living room.

Here are a few memories that stand out as I take stock of the challenges, opportunities, and experiences that occured over the past twelve months:

  • Kicked off the year in Mumbai at a party with my brother. Spent the next few days in Dubai for a friend’s engagement celebrations #NAMIKA. I completed the ‘diamond triangle’ by visiting Antwerp, Belgium for my appointment with the U.S. Embassy in Brussels 💎
  • Early March brought me to a state in northern IndiaRajasthan. I spent four days in Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, for my friend’s wedding #KeepingNishRiyal. I flew back to Boston directly from India amid a new ban on travelers coming from Europe…
