Funding Is Available to Cover METRO Studio Equipment Rental

As you may have read by now, the digitization equipment in our METRO Studio at 599 11th Ave is now fully operational. Equipment includes high resolution flatbed scanners, a DSLR camera and copy stand, as well as a variety of magnetic AV media transfer equipment (VHS, miniDV, audio cassette, betacam, u-matic, reel-to-reel audio). We charge hourly fees to recoup the costs of maintaining the equipment and cover staff time, but prices are quite reasonable.

In addition, through the end of this fiscal year (June 30), we also have a small amount of funding available for METRO members to help cover equipment rental costs. If you are interested in applying for assistance, please contact Anne Karle-Zenith (annekz@metro.org).
