Apparently we have another gameweek today!

And you guessed it right, I am still the number one show. So let’s dive right into the next batch of picks.

This time, and after going for midfielders in the past week, we go for the defenders bracket, and start preparing for GW11 and GW12 at the same time.

David Alaba | RMD | D | 6.5M | In 10% of teams

Besides Vini Jr, Benzema and Courtois, the fourth pick from Los Blancos should be a defender, no point in pursuing any type of other offensive threats. If you can stretch your budget to his premium price tag, the silky Austrian is the way to go. In his five starts so far, Real Madrid managed four cleanies! And if you factor the one goal in the last five games from Chelsea, the more tasty it looks.

John Stones | MCI | D | 6.0M | In 1% of teams

The preferred Pep defender is now a midfielder when on the ball. But the important fact is that he has been fit and playing regularly over the past month, something that he hasn’t always managed throughout his career. Since then, in a 6-game period, City only conceded one goal when John was on the pitch. Overall, in this year’s Champions League, he played four games and has 1 goal, 1 assist and 3 cleanies, averaging 7.5pts/gm.
