International Break is gladly over, so it is time to dwell on another set of two juicy UEFA Champions League matchdays.

The first act of the wildcard went smoothly, and we are inside the Top-10 overall, #6 to be more accurate, the spot where we finished last year.

So, with two free transfers, it is time to attack some teams that play two games against weaker opponents and play in early kick-offs, to add an extra element when considering a differential.

GW1 and GW2 brought me two Captain defenders locked in the first kick-off of the day. Can we make it three out of three?

Jamal Musiala | BAY | M | 5.5M | In 5% of teams

He is no Defender, but he might be on for something special against the Czechs. Partnering with Müller upfront, he started the last 4 games for Bayern and scored 2 goals. He also created 3 assists in that timeframe, one versus Barcelona in GW2 in a game where he registered 5 key passes. A must for the double header!

Diogo Jota | LIV | A | 8.0M | In 2% of teams

Returned in time to play both UCL games before the break, assisting Mo Salah for the first goal versus Ajax. He then scored for Portugal in the Nations League and looks back to his best when Liverpool needs him the most. Now it is time to secure six vital points in the UK battle with Rangers, a team that conceded 7 goals and is the worst defence of the competition, along with Plzeň.

Timo Werner | RBL | A | 7.5M | In 5% of teams

From one Scottish opponent to another, we pick the ex-Chelsea striker to get a couple of European goals mirroring his latest performance in the Bundesliga. Timo also adds value since he is playing in the first kick-off time on Wednesday. So, you have here a potentially explosive differential Captain!

Sergio Gómez | MCI | D | 5.0M | In 0% of teams

With Walker and Stones out, Pep must play Cancelo on the right. And that nails the “cheap” Gómez on the opposite flank. It is København they are facing, so even with the risk of getting caught by the famous Pep Roulette, we got to roll the dice with this one. Gómez started in Seville, with a promising set of stats: 2 KP and 7 DW.
