It just keeps getting better and better!

A gameweek score of 126 points and we are inside the Top-20 overall. Amazing stuff on the back of that wildcard in GW2.

But the quest continues, so eyes on the prize, especially now with rotations hitting hard amongst managers whose teams are already qualified for the next phase.

With that in mind, and spreading things out as usual through the 4 game slots, here are the Fantasista’s picks for you to consider for GW5.

Omar Richards | Bayern | D | 5.0M | In 0% of teams

Covid-19 opened a door for us in the first kick-off of Day 1. Richards is tutored to play on left of the Germans back four, pushing Davies up front. On top of his modest price tag, there are two other things worth considering: he recorded 3 key passes and 4 duels won in only 30’ of play in the UCL, and Dynamo Kyiv has not scored a single goal in the Group Stage.

Mario Pašalić | Atalanta | M | 6.5M | In 0% of teams

After a tough beginning to the season in Bergamo, the Croatian has battled his way back into Gasperini’s favourites. He started the last 8 matches, scoring 4 goals and registering 2 assists in that period. Atalanta faces a must-win game in Switzerland, and Young Boys are allowing an average of 2 goals per game. This pick can also deserves a good shoutout for the final gameweek versus Villarreal.

Andrea Ranocchia | Internazionale | D | 4.5M | In 0% of teams

The last three European matches between Inter and Shakhtar have all ended “nil-nil”. So, it is always difficult to ignore the cheaper defender on the pitch for this one. The Italian centre-back is set to replace the injured De Vrij and could be a nice little differential for the early kick-off on Wednesday.

Antoine Griezmann | Atlético Madrid | F | 8.0M | In 3% of teams

Fun fact: even scoring only 14 Fantasy Champions points, Antoine has appointed 3 of the 4 goals that Atlético scored in the UCL. AC Milan has conceded in every game so far, and the little Frenchman will be eager to contribute yet again for a win, in order for Atlético to settle the 2nd place battle against Porto in the final match of the groups.
