Derby Challenge — the new game model by RealFevr
If you’ve been eager for some shorter competitions at RealFevr, this game model was built just for you
A few days ago, when launching Liga CasinoSolverde.pt, we stated:
“Fantasy and Football. Synonymous to excitement, especially when you get to end up as the winner.”
Today, we can claim that statement again. And if before we were mainly talking about prizes, today it’s about reinforcing the pure adrenaline and thrill of competing!
Derby Challenge is RealFevr’s most recent toy and it consists of a Short Term Fantasy League.
Starting this season, RealFevr offers you 3 distinct game models:
- Classic Leagues: where you have a budget to build a team and you play against all other users in that competition.
- Draft Leagues: in a smaller group, 10 users, and with unique teams, that starts with an online draft and runs like a real-life championship, with 3 point on the line every gameweek.
- Derby Challenge: a new game model, much like a Daily Fantasy, where you compete in a single event, creating a team for a specific game (or two, max), with limited choices and all the adrenaline just jam-packed into 90 minutes.
In more practical terms, to play RealFevr’s newest competition Derby Challenge you’ll need to create a new team when one is announced (Derby Challenge is not always available) and the most common rules of Classic Leagues will apply here (auto-subs, manual subs, scoring, leaderboards, etc) and will run side-by-side with their “core competitions”, Liga NOS Virtual, Italy Fantasy and other options available at RealFevr. On top, there will be a leaderboard for the sum of all the Derby Challenges throughout the season.
The worldwide acclaimed Benfica-Porto will serve as the centerpiece for the premiere of Derby Challenge at RealFevr. You can learn more about it here (yes, it’s in Portuguese, but Google will help you out, if needed) and create your team at https://fantasy.realfevr.com/t/DERBYCPT.
