How to play RealFevr Fantasy Leagues

RealFevr’s fantasy football platform (counting with more than 2.5M downloads, 1.2M already registered users) offers 10 national leagues, 3 international club competitions and all the major European team competitions, including the Top 5 european leagues: Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Liga Portugal bwin and more!

The platform is Free-To-Play, though we do offer a Premium service which gives you additional perks, such as the ability to have more teams per competition, check your opponent’s teams and player status.

Start by downloading the app:

Open the app, tap “Register” and fill up all the fields related to your information.: Your Name, Username, Email and Birth Date.

Alternatively, if you prefer the desktop version, you can head to our Fantasy Platform website and select the down arrow to reveal a dropdown menu where you can fill up up the fields mentioned above.

Then, press the option that says “I’m not a robot” to confirm you are a real person. (If you are actually a robot, sorry! Maybe one day someone will make a fantasy platform where robots are welcome to play).

Now let’s get down to business. You created your account and now you’re ready to throw your hat in the ring and join all the other fantasy team managers in the fight for the top spots on the leaderboard.

But you won’t accomplish anything with an empty field and bench! So how do you get started?

There are two available game modes:

Classic Leagues / Salary Cap are the perfect way to for you to start your fantasy football journey.

Pick a competition

Explore all the available options. You can create 1 team for every competition, and if you subscribe to our Premium service you can have up to 3 teams in each competition.

Create your team

You can do this with either the Auto-Complete option, that will choose random players within budget while complying with every other roster rule, or you can pick your own squad one by one by tapping “Build my team” instead. Make sure you also check the Rules of the competition!

You can also use the filters to find players by team, name, price or points (high / low).

Formation:

You can only have a maximum of 3 players from the same club/national team and it’s mandatory that the 15 players in your roster include 2 goalkeepers, 5 defensive players, 5 midfielders, and 3 forward players. If, due to “real life” transfers, you suddenly have more than 3 players from the same club, you’ll have to correct it the next time you want to submit transfers on your team.

Your 15-player team will have 4 bench players, one of which will be the second goalkeeper and others will depend on your chosen formation for the 10 starting field players.

The available formations are: 3–4–3, 3–5–2, 4–3–3, 4–4–2, 4–5–1, 5–4–1, and 5–3–2. To change your formations before each gameweek/round, you just have to sub your starters for the bench players. For example, if you have your starters in a 4–4–2 formation and want to switch to a 4–3–3 formation, you just need to swap a midfielder from the starters for a forward that is on the bench.

All players in each competition can be found on the Transfers list. You can use this list to check on a player’s performance, if you’re looking to replace any of your current players. You can apply filters to narrow your search and order the players by price or points.

Filters:

By Name: start typing the name of the player you’re looking for
By Team: select the team where your chosen player is currently on
By Budget: click the box if you just want to see the players within your budget
By Price: move the white ends to define the limits of a player’s price
By Position: select the specific position you’re looking for

Captain and Vice-Captain

Every gameweek/round you’ll be able to choose a captain that will score double the points. If you’re using automatic substitutions, in case your captain doesn’t play in that match, your vice-captain will be the player scoring double points. During the gameweek/round you can pass the armband to another player, as long as this new player hasn’t played yet. However, you’ll be then using manual substitutions and your chosen vice-captain will no longer be needed.

Note that you can only make captain/vice-captain changes before the start of matches

Transfers

After having created your team, you can buy or sell players through transfers. You can access them by tapping the “Transfers” option in the horizontal menu at the bottom of the screen on mobile or on desktop.

Until the deadline for Gameweek 1, you’ll be able to make unlimited transfers without any hit points. If you join in the middle of the competition, you will also have unlimited transfers in the period between creating your team and the deadline for the first gameweek where your team will be scored accordingly. After the first gameweek your team scored in, you’ll be given 2 free transfers per gameweek.

In gameweeks where you don’t use all your free transfers, 1 free transfer will carry over to the following week. It won’t be possible to carry more than 1 each week, so if you have 2 free transfers in Gameweek 2 and don’t use any, you’ll only have 3 free transfers available in the next gameweek — the 2 given by rule and the 1 you can carry over — and not 4 free transfers.

Each additional transfer, after the ones available for a specific gameweek, will have a points hit of minus four points (-4), that will be subtracted from your respective gameweek’s score.

After they are confirmed, transfers cannot be reverted.

Make sure you check how many tranfers you have available in the Rules of each competition!

World Fantasy Transfers

After Gameweek 1, you’ll be awarded the following free transfers per round:
Gameweek 2 and 3 (Group Stage) — 2
Gameweek 4 (Round of 16) — Unlimited
Gameweek 5 (Quarter finals) — 8
Gameweek 6 (Semi-Finals) — 8
Gameweek 7 (3rd place game and Final) — 8

Postponed matches: As you know, in certain cases, matches are postponed to a day that falls out of a certain gameweek timetable. This decision can be taken with a few days (or even weeks) notice, but sometimes it may happen on the day that the match is supposed to take place. Therefore, we have established that, if a match is canceled before the market lock (1 hour before the first match of each gameweek), users are entitled to extra free transfers:

1 or 2 matches postponed: you will receive 2 extra transfers for each game
3+ postponed matches: you will receive a wildcard

However, if a match is postponed after the market closes for that gameweek, we have no way of compensating you. What we can guarantee is that all users will be on an equal footing.

Wilcard

A wildcard gives you the opportunity to carry out unlimited free transfers until the gameweek’s deadline, i.e., you can activate it one day and do unlimited transfers every day until the next deadline, without getting any penalty points.

However, this represents an important and strategic decision, you still have to stick to the budget limit, the maximum of 3 players per club/national team and a valid formation.

Notes:

Once activated (when confirming your transfers), the wildcard cannot be cancelled or reverted
Tournament competitions like World Fantasy will only have one wildcard available
If you have already used the wildcard or you don’t want to use it in a particular gameweek, you can still make extra transfers, but each additional transfer will be hit with -4 points, which will be subtracted from that gameweek’s score
