Alexandre Oliveira

Theo Hernández | France | D | 6.3M | 39% ownership

He has already scored one goal and provided two assists during the World Cup. He has been demonstrating why many people think he is among the finest left backs in the world during this competition. The outcome of the final game will be contested, most likely extremely tight, and it may come down to set pieces. Theo is particularly powerful in these situations and may prove to be the deciding factor.

Ivan Perišić | Croatia | M | 7.2M | 24% ownership

With Croatia battling hard for third place at the World Cup, all signs lead to him being in the starting lineup. He is one of the most important players on this national squad and has contributed two assists in addition to one goal thus far. He will probably play in his final World Cup, so he will want a grand farewell.

Olivier Giroud | France | F | 7.2M | 28% ownership

Even though it was predicted that Benzema would be unreplaceable, the AC Milan player rose to the occasion, consistently playing well. Due to its midrange cost and the fact that it has already scored four goals in this World Cup, it is mandatory to pick him. He is surrounded by star players, who can help him the most in this World Cup.

João Simões

Nicolás Otamendi | Argentina | D | 6.7M | 29% ownership

Otamendi’s journey to the final is remarkable. At 34, he still leads the Albiceleste defense with dominating performances. He can easily provide us with two additional points for CBIs and Duels. They have the lowest xGA in the World Cup, this data may indicate that they have the best defense in the competition and if they play with a line of 5 at the back might add value to this pick.

Luka Modrić | Croatia | M | 5.9M | 24% ownership

What a player, almost guiding his team towards its second world final in a row. Now he will lead the squad in an attempt for at least a bronze medal against Morocco, which is struggling with injuries in their defense. With one more day to recover, Croatia can take advantage of that situation. Modrić can’t leave the competition without an offensive return.

Youssef En-Nesyri | Morocco | F | 5.6M | 6% ownserhip

Despite the injuries in defense, Morocco fought back against France. We saw their offensive potential and now that they have nothing to lose, I expect them to take the same approach against Croatia. En-Nesyri has already scored twice in this World Cup and will be the main target to finish their attacking plays.

Luís Costa

Borna Sosa | Croatia | D | 4.0M | 6% ownership

A super offensive defender as a punt for the ultimate gameweek can be your team’s last breath. It is time to take some risks to get some points and we can see Croatia doing well against Morocco. Let us remind you that these teams already played in the group stage and the match finished 0–0 and Morocco put up 0.37 xG. The clean sheet is a possible scenario and, if Sosa could build up on off-stats (4.2 CBIs & 4.7 DW p90 so far), we think he can be one of the safest choices for this final round.

Azzedine Ounahi | Morocco | M | 5.0M | 1% ownership

Ounahi is the man of the moment for the Morrocan team with a delightful tournament so far, making him one of the biggest breakouts of this World Cup. If you trust Morocco to keep up with the good performance they have shown so far, the Angers midfielder could be a good pick. He averages ~5 DW p90 minutes also, which can be helpful for filling your final team with those 4/5 points.

Bruno Petković | Croatia | F | 6.0M | 0% ownership

The hero against Brazil can have another chance against Morocco. Fortunately, we will be able to see the lineups before the lock, and if the Croatian forward is nailed we believe that he can be a good differential for the last match. Although Morocco has been solid defensively, the number of minutes played and the dream being shattered against France can lower the team’s concentration, something that the experienced Croatian team can take advantage of.

Tozé Arantes

Nahuel Molina | Argentina | D | 6.4M | 19% ownership

Otamendi should be the number one option among the Argentine defenders, but Molina should be one of your options if you want to go for a second. He is nailed as Romero, but he doesn’t have that risk of being sent off like Cuti. I feel like the final game has more chances of having a low number of goals than the third-place play-off so you should rely on your defenders in this game.

Nikola Vlašić | Croatia | M | 5.5M | 0% ownership

Vlašić comes as a final punt for this competition. He entered the semi-final game and was able to get 5 duels won in 45 minutes. He has 7 goals in 47 games for Croatia and a good register of goals and assists throughout his career. Forget the xG for this pick, it is about the xFeeling.

Antoine Griezmann | France | F | 8.0M | 21% ownership

I said on the first pick that I was not expecting a final with lots of goals. Considering this, it seems weird to suggest Griezmann. However, we have all seen how the Atlético midfielder/forward has been playing. It is not only about the offensive returns, but the overall game. Last game he got 6 points without a goal or assist, giving extra points on Key Passes, Duels, and CBIs. The ceiling might not be high, but he is a bonus points magnet.
