A young woman involved in a love triangle with two men ends up brutally murdered by her lover after becoming jealous. The question is whether he’ll pay the price for his crime?

The early 1900s was a time of prosperity and growth in the United States. People from all over the world were coming to the United States in hopes of a better life and new opportunities.

New York City was one of the biggest and most diverse cities on the east coast. It was a city popular with immigrants in search of a new life. Chinese immigrants carved out their own place in the Big Apple as they tried to find their way.

However, many people were wary of Asians, and prejudice ran deep. Many Americans held the misguided belief that Asians were a danger to the western world. Chinese men were reputed to be opium fiends looking for women to sell to into the sex trade.

It was believed Asians had to be converted to Christianity and the American way of life if there was any hope in living safely and peacefully amongst them. Many upper-class women took it upon themselves to educate the men on American and Christian life.
