Changpeng Zhao Turned out to Be the Richest Person in the Crypto Industry

According to the Hurun research institute in 2020, the fortune of Binance CEO Changpen Zhao (CZ) is estimated at about $2.6 billion, which is twice as much as in 2019. Hurun claims that CZ is the richest person in the crypto industry.
Binance is one of the leading crypto exchanges in the world. The company has branches around the world, as it continues to cooperate with other companies and acquire local exchanges. Not so long ago, the company acquired the Indian cryptocurrency service WazirX. Binance also reported record earnings for 2019.
Bitmain co-founder Mikri Jean became the second richest person in the crypto industry, whose fortune is estimated at $1.6 billion, according to Hurun’s Hurun Global Rich List 2020. Mikri Jean founded Bitmain with Jihan Wu, but was expelled from the company at the end of last year.
Coinbase’s Brian Armstrong and Ripple’s Chris Larsen are also among the top 6 richest people in the crypto industry.
