Is Bitcoin the Same As Crypto?

With regards to the recent FTX blowup and other blowups, there is now a discussion about whether Bitcoin is just like every other crypto. There’s also the issue of whether FTX had anything to do with decentralized finance or whether it was just a classic fiat system. The latter has been talked about a lot, so I want to focus here on the former. What is the relationship between Bitcoin and Crypto?
