Jack Dorsey Will Give 28% of His Fortune to To Fund Global COVID-19 Relief

Square and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has become a true Internet superhero, announcing that he will allocate $1 billion (28% of his wealth) to fight COVID-19.

Dorsey also further explained why he would like to pursue education for young women and UBI:

“I believe they represent the best long-term solutions to the existential problems facing the world. UBI is a great idea needing experimentation. Girl’s health and education is critical to balance”

Dorsey also said that charitable processes should be transparent — “so I and others can learn,” he explained.

According to Jack Dorsey, his example should inspire other rich people. He also said that during his lifetime he would like to see the results of his efforts.

Jack Dorsey’s tweet gathered thousands of comments and likes. Former U.S. presidential candidate Andrew Young, a UBI supporter of $1,000 for every American, also responded to the tweet.
