The British mobile bank Revolut launched a function based on the concept of “open banking”. Now the company’s customers can see their accounts in other banks directly in the Revolut application.

New functionality has become available as part of a neo-bank collaboration with TrueLayer. Now all retail and business customers can see the balance and transaction history of accounts in other banks in the Revolut application. Retail customers can also set budget controls for both Revolut accounts and external accounts. Thus, the company provided customers with the opportunity to more effectively control their financial life.

Francesco Simoneschi, CEO of TrueLayer, said: “Revolut has a huge, rapidly growing customer base that will now benefit from gaining a 360 view of their financial health. This is exciting because, for years, people haven’t been getting enough value from traditional banks — paying more than they should on interest, and are not benefiting from a unified view of their finances.”

Recall last fall Revolut announced the entry into new markets.
