By Marko Vidrih on The Capital
According to a survey published on Wednesday by bitFlyer Europe, the European division of the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange bitFlyer, 66% of respondents believe that cryptocurrencies will exist in 10 years. It is reported by Coindesk.
The survey, conducted with the help of Google Surveys, was attended by 10,000 people from 10 European countries.
Italy was the most optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies. Almost three quarters (72%) of respondents believe that cryptocurrencies will continue to exist in 10 years.

The indicator of 66% is 3% higher than the results of a similar survey conducted by the exchange last year.
“It is pleasing to see these results that indicate a slow but steady progression of cryptocurrencies into the mainstream consciousness,” said Andy Bryant, COO at bitFlyer Europe.
UK respondents were least optimistic in this survey. However, more than half (56%) believe in the long-term potential of cryptocurrencies.
