The US Congress Investing Performance and the Nancy Pelosi Portfolio

In April 2012, the stock act was introduced. After that point, the congress members were prohibited to use nonpublic information that they obtained from their positions, in order to trade financial assets. This act is also known as the “Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act of 2012”.

This act obliges every congress member to disclose all of their transactions after 30 days from opening.
