What Happened At The Bitcoin Conference 2019 San Francisco

By MamaeCrypto Michelle M. on ALTCOIN MAGAZINE

There is truly no way to put into words all the experiences lived in this passed few days, but I will try my best to at least give you a sense of the revolution that is occurring in the world of today. By describing my trip to the Bitcoin Conference 2019 San Francisco.

As I stare at a bankrupted global economy on the brink of total collapse, (that is in my opinion of course) I can only be hopeful that Bitcoin and the whole crypto community exists. Hopeful that this movement is set to change the world in such a meaningful way. While there, I could not only mingle with innovators but also got a very strong feel of crypto popular culture and tendencies.

For me, the trip started in LA. I joined a group of crypto enthusiasts and professionals on the first Voyage on the @CryptoBitBus for a fabulous and hip bonding experience. Will never forget my Magic Crypto friends and the fun times we had together.

Arriving at the Bitcoin Conference, I already got a sense that this event was unlike any crypto event I have ever been. The venue located in downtown San Francisco, surrounded by many of Fin-tech largest corporations and banking giants, was simply the ideal spot to showcase all the innovation occurring in the crypto realm. And when I say innovation I mean it!

I was able to interact with an every-single booth at the conference and on the bus. I tested products, games, software, and programs that are now very user-friendly and integrated. Will certainly showcase a few in my next articles.

For a regular person to understand, crypto is getting simpler, apps are getting very creative and I can easily see it in many applications. Flourishing and being adopted by mainstream culture. Especially young people. Developers, designers, influencers, attendees, in general, are young. But do not take them for granted because they are super smart and mingling with Fin-tech corporate giants making integrations happen. A global phenomenon that is hardly being talked about in the media.

That is why I jumped in. I wanted to not only hear about it 10 years later, but to be part of this new culture. Understand it with my core and contribute to the cause. I must say it is very refreshing for a mom. I guess it gives me hope for a better future.

Speakers… what an amazing bunch of fantastic speakers was presented by the Bitcoin Conference this year. Highlights for me were. The first day: Kicking off with my favorites Max Keiser, Tim Draper, Anthony Pompliano, Diego Gutíerrez-Zaldívar. Second day: Ending the special guests such as Eric Lombrozo, Erik Voorhees and Edward Snowden. Most were live-streamed at the Bitcoin conference website and the ones that were not certainly will be available on YouTube.

Snowden — The Highlight!

In addition to the booths and a fantastic round of speakers, the conference also had great ART, great music, diverse food selection and drinks, fantastic prizes for attendees, sunshine mingling opportunities at the rooftop and so much more. Cannot wait for 2020!
