Details on Cargo’s Upcoming Art Contest
We are truly excited to announce the launch of Cargo on July 28, 2020 — the all-in-one platform to create, manage, and sell digital collectibles — including digital art, music, game items, and other digital media!
As part of the celebration we are inviting the community to participate in the Cargo Art Contest. We will select four pieces submitted as part of the contest and feature each item for a week over a four-week period. Not only will these winning designs be featured at the top of the Cargo marketplace, Cargo will also promote them on Twitter and call them out in upcoming Cargo emails.
Cargo credits are required to create collectibles on Cargo. However, to support the efforts of the creators and artists in our community, we will give each creator 10 Cargo credits to help you get started. All you will need to pay is the Ethereum transaction fee required to create the collectible.
Cargo supports audio, video, 3D, and image formats. You can also lock digital content within your collectibles, which only the token holder can unlock.

How to Participate
Step 1
Go to https://app.cargo.build and sign up for an account.
Step 2
If you haven’t done so yet, send your Ethereum address that you used to create your account in a private message to the @BuildWithCargo Twitter account. We will transfer the Cargo credits to that address and let you know when the transfer is complete!
Step 3
Time to create!
You can submit one or more items to the contest. However, it is important to have your items ready to go in the marketplace. Do this by following these simple steps …
- Create your collectible
- Create a showcase
- Add your item to the showcase
- Mark the item “For Sale” and select the showcase you made from the drop down menu.

Step 4
Next, share your contest submission with us on Twitter!
All you need to do is tweet @BuildWithCargo with the link to your new collectible(s). You will see the link on your Cargo dashboard. Click on the collectible you want to share and open the detail panel. Click on the “View public page” link in the top right corner.
After opening the public page, click “Share this collectible” and copy the URL (or copy it directly from your browser’s URL bar).
